Do you have one? How long has it been growing? Would you like one? Whats your favorite style?
Tonight I said goodbye to the beard I had been growing for a month. I grew it for the following photograph:
Please share your beardom.

I wish, I don’t have any body hair really. My arms have less hair than most girls. My friends laugh at how smooth they are, I shaved one, and nobody knew the difference.
Why did you shave one arm?
I have grown a short goatee for a long time. the scientific explanation being I want females to believe I have a higher testosterone level (and so a larger chin:D!)… the results contradict science !
I have found no scientific explanation for my mustache … but everytime I shaved it my wife went mad and complained that the mustache was almost in the wedding contract! so …
big fat sideburns are the way to go. They make helmet straps comfortable, act as cheek-sweat bands, keep you warm on cold days and attract the opposite sex
If I could grow one this is what it would look like
but I can’t.
Is this true? Because I have pretty noticable sideburns and I don’t get that much attention
The style I usually go for is the lazy type, where I don’s take the time to shave so I shave once in two weeks or so.
I’ve got a good month or so of growth at the mo… Deliberating as to what to do with it at the moment.
I like handlebars but I have a small patch to the left of my lips where nothing grows leaving my left handle bar detached.
I went for a moustache concept I called Le Kiddy Fiddler last time I trimmed. As you can probably guess it looked like it belonged on a French paedophile but when combined with the Christian symbology I had shaved into my head at the time I thought it quite fetching.
I’m open to suggestions for my next beard/'tache combo.
r u trying to get a woman?
For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, this is not beard growing season because it leaves funny tan lines when you shave them. I prefer about two months of fall growth.
A good, sturdy christian woman, yes.
what does that person look like? (So I’ll be properly prejudiced …)
I don’t really have a beard, but usually when I shave (which I try to do once a week :D) I shave everything completely, except for a small part of my goatee(which I shave slightly, but save at least a little bit of hair-length), simply because it just feels so great to rub my mini-goatee while I’m thinking or just relaxing!
But I don’t think that facial hair suits me appearance-wise
Beards are gross!
That’s lucky for you. If you could grow that, you probably couldn’t get a job; at least not a job you wanted. Plus I don’t think it would look very good on you.
I’ve grown beards a few times, but my chin doesn’t fill in very well. Last year I had a goatee for Ride The Lobster, to help add to the “old” theme of our team, the Centurions. But we turned out to be only the second-oldest team, with only the second-oldest rider (Dave White). We did, however, lead the pack on years of unicycling experience, with 101. Now we’re up to 104!
Except for this past October, I’ve had a beard minus sideburns since I turned 30. I didn’t have one before because I couldn’t grow hair all the way along my jaw. I still can’t grown sideburns. And even though I have naturally dark hair, I have traces of red in my beard.
This past October I decided to shave it all off, and then I broke my nose at CMW. So I guess I should keep the beard.
Miss Ayelery has a beard.
Alright, who’s going to start the unicycling thread in the “General Discussion” forum over at beardboard.com?
