Today is a sad day for all :(.
He will be missed. I guarantee he was the one who probably made unicycle companies think of making the BC (a.k.a impossible wheel) I wouldn’t be surprised if this was true. I think everyone should have this in their signature to remember him. I know i will.
R.I.P Johnny Hart
^^^^^^^^^^
But only for those he left behind. Mr. Hart fought the good fight and finished the race.
Which is why i’m telling people to put R.I.P Johnny Hart in their sig.
I could barely read the writing cause it’s matches the backgrounds colour almost and the font is a little too small. But it’s still readable.
By definition that comic makes no sense. It’s called BC (before christ) and they are talking about christ. Oh well, RIP Mr. Hart
and he was a born again christian
Yes he was.
I think the first seller of complete BC wheels, rather than pegs or plates, was Unicycle.com, who still call it the Impossible Wheel. Bedford may have started selling his at about the same time, so I’m not sure who was first.
I saw my first BC wheel in 1980 (at my first unicycle convention) but they probably go back at least 100 years with performers using them in one form or another.
The comic strip, of course, may have been the inspiration for some people to first create their own BC wheels…
