Battery Operated Uni Wheel Lights

For those looking for Parade decorations:

Our Lowe’s (nationwide Hardware Warehouse type Store) has battery operated twinkle lights. 10 lights to a string, two “c” size batteries. They have white and multicolored versions. $2

Walgreens has 10 Multicolored LED lights on a Batt. Op. string for $4

I would try to tape the battery pack close to the hub so as not to be affected by unsightly centrifugal force.

Re: Battery Operated Uni Wheel Lights

We’ve used the multicolored ones from several different stores in parades.
If you put one set inside each wheel, taping the battery box on securely and
winding the lights evenly around through the spokes, then have each person
wear a second set around their body with the battery in their pocket, the
result will be great.

Same here. We use the same lights purchased from a dollar store for the Christmas Lights parade. The lights really look neat on a rotating unicycle wheel.
