Banned from 606

606: the BBC’s forum for sports discussion.

My recent post was banned for being offensive.

I remarked that Geoff Boycott is an “arrogant egotist” (giving reasons). Nothing else in the post was even potentially offensive.

Oh, the land of free speech, where calling a Yorkshireman “arrogant” is considered controversial and inflammatory. :frowning:

Geoff Boycott is a little more than an ordinary Yorkshireman, but his position still does not give him the liberty to be arrogant.

I am slightly distressed with the turn for the worse international cricket has taken in recently years. And most of the problems have a root of either arrogance or money.

Money, money, money!

That’s where you’re mistaken.

Apparently they passed a law against that recently.

They just passed a law against photographing police officers

It’s just a matter of time before people start getting arrested for thoughtcrimes in the UK.

Yes, I’ve often thought that you should be banned from this forum for your rude and offensive remarks. But there you go. Gilby is just too permissive.
