Band

This is just a thread to get the band members of unicyclist.com talking.
Just say something about yourself.

It doesn’t matter whether you are in a “real” band, school band or any other band.

I’ll start it off.

My name is Connor. I play euphonium in my school’s band and trombone in a local ska band called Flying Raccoon Suit(yes, that is a Mario reference). For marching band next year, my school is doing a Sweeney Todd show.

Im Jerrick, play guitar for the band Odyssey. Also work as producer, audio engineer, and learning to master.

I’m graham. I play bass in a pop punk/alt rock band that has no name yet. My cousin and his friend formed it, and asked me to play bass. I enjoy playing and writing on a normal 6 string guitar. I also enjoy playing blues and punk.

Ive always wanted to play in school band, but i dont like the music, and didnt want to be held to a set schedule.

I’m jamming with my cousin (lead guitar) this friday, we’ll probably discuss band names too.

I play with rubber bands.

So do my cats.

I made a rubber band gun once. It was cool.

I play bass and guitar, but no band…:frowning:

If my school did sweeny todd I would not have quit band.

I like your picture maestro.

how’s musical freedom sound? ehh, kinda corny now that i see it…lol

I’m Milly.
I play piano in three Jazz quartets. One is a sax, bass, piano, drums line-up, one is guitar, piano, bass, drums and the other (more of an atonal free-jazz group) is piano, viola, bass, drums.
I play organ and keyboards in a blues/funk group.
Along with that, I play piano in a duo with a sax/flute player.

I’m also going to be joining an avant-garde folk group and hopefully a salsa group.
I also write alot of music.

Awesome. I was in my school’s jazz band on trombone, but this year we didn’t do it because we got a new director.

hahaha…

thats the problem with band names we create lol…

How about…

Sonic "]Travesty

or

“The Itinerant Bikelings”

I’m Chaz, and I play euphonium and trombone.

I played euph in the PA district, region, and all-state bands in 2006. In 2007, I played in Carnegie Hall with Shenandoah Conservatory’s Wind Ensemble. I currently attend UNT as a euphonium performance major, studying with Dr. Brian Bowman and Danny Vinson.

Next fall, I’ll be transferring schools and changing my major to a non-music major.

awesome!

The best musical band I played in was around 1967. We jammed pool-side in Arizona. We would jump in the water really quick between songs. It was an air band playing air guitars and air drums. We performed to the Monkeys and as well as some Beach Boys.
Good times. :sunglasses:
