BAd crash right in front of my house!

Just happened! Two women in a small car rammed into my front retaining wall just moments ago! Sounded like a bomb went off! cops and paramedics out front now. They’re pretty shaken up but apparently ok. Both airbags deployed.

Bet they were on cellphones and wernt paying attention.

Go uni infront of them. Trials it up on the car.

And your first thought is to take pictures and show it to us?

:stuck_out_tongue:

Well he may need the photographs for insurance purposes.

Good thing it was the retaining wall and not your front door huh? Its good to hear they are okay though.

No Forrest. I took those for insurance purposes jebbus cripes man!

THANK YOU BRIAN! (And for not jumping to conclusions like you know who, LOL!:D)

Yeah, but uploading the pictures online? :stuck_out_tongue:

jk.

WTF? I didn’t show their faces. The first three pics show the damage to my wall. the last two are just long shots of the scene. It’s pretty generic stuff. No blood and guts. Plus it’s not everyday that someone SLAMS into my property! So I thought it was worthy of a post, so relax man!

“All of a sudden, this wall came outta nowhere!”

Or something like that. That’s what they’ll be telling their friends, insurance company, etc.

It’s always funny how people describe accidents they’ve been in. Unless it’s an un-funny accident; not much funny about people being majorly injured or killed. But drivers rarely blame themselves, and passengers rarely blame their own drivers. When you read about accidents in the newspaper it always seems to say something like “…when the driver lost control and ended up hitting a wall.” So what we always want to know is that caused said loss of control? Could have been a mechanical issue with the car but that’s only a tiny percentage of such accidents.

Also I think media coverage of accidents, when they get covered, should mention whether the occupants were wearing seat belts, especially if they were injured or killed. It makes a great reminder. Fortunately these ladies were protected by their airbags, as well as probably seat belts.

Lucky for me, my wall wasn’t driving at the time, so there’s no question of fault, lol.

I am glad to hear they didn’t injure anyone.

No shit! If anyone (me) had been standing there-in the driveway and off the frickin road!- they would have been killed! :astonished: Or cut in half!

Thanks for sharing Terry, it is always nice to know what happens to the members of this community.

one time i was unicycling and out of nowhere this parked car rammed right into me and i was all like, whoa!! did you see that unicorn!?

Yeah I was literally rocked out of my chair while I was editing my video, and thought a bomb had gone off! Becuase the wall is on my property, the shock wave virtually rumbled throughout my house and it just felt like an earthquake!

But yeah, it was good news that they were ok; actually, I was surprised when the passenger of the crashed car knocked on my door a while after the accident, asking to use my bathroom!:stuck_out_tongue:

Dead people as a whole give very unsatisfactory descriptions.

Terry, do those two differ somehow?

Probably not…much. :astonished:

Or in part(s).

Relax yourself, I was just joking…

I know.
