backflip help (reverse crankflip)

After getting into the habit of kicking the cranks backwards everytime I was at the “ready to mount” position, I tried to do backflips. Surprisingly I did not find it hard at all to flip them. But I am struggling to get my back foot (kicking foot) back onto the pedal to land them. Maybe get more height of the unicycle?

Any advice?

Thanks.

Oh bro, I had this same problem. Here’s what I did

First I landed a fakie backflip

This may not work for you but I thought it helped.

When I went onto backflips, I would ride, stop, get my kicking foot higher than the other foot, pull up hard and land. Easy.

Backflips are a bitch.

Learn fakieflips and then try backflips

No such trick… Isn’t this the 2nd time I am telling you this?

+1

Ok I tried some today. Fakie flips are a bit easier than backflips. A question about having the kicking foot higher than the other foot, do you mean when my feet are placed on the cranks or when my feet are in the air?

On your cranks (right before you flip)… It doesn’t matter where they are in the air, so long as they are out of the way and you can return them to the pedals :stuck_out_tongue:
