Back from CA

Came back from California yesterday. Great trip, thanks for all the tips.
Anyway, my top college choice now is definetly Berkley, now the main
challenge is to get in and get a schoolarship. I talked to some students
there and it looks like it very difficult for out-of-staters to get it,
much less receive any type of aid.

In other news, San Francisco is great. Out of all the US cities I’ve been
too so far (most major ones), SF is the liveliest, most energetic and most
interesting one. No clue why I am saying this, considering that most of
you are from that area anyway.

Ah, you didn’t stop by my pigsty (although it’s an hour away from SF

Financial Aid is always available, maybe not free, but there are great
loans available.

Congrats on your choice of Berkeley, I’ll stick with Stanford ;).

Good luck… glad you like it out here.

BTW – As far as scholarships are concerned, I wouldn’t try too hard to
get any within the UC system itself (being from out of state and all). I’d
pursue scholarships in your local area.
