Baby Steps

Today is my older daughter’s birthday. Of course I thought being two years old
an’ all that she should have a unicycle. Of course it’s an interesting venture
making a uni for someone with an 11.8 inch inseam. I put a picture up at
www.uidaho.edu/~reed8990/h2bday/uni.html

There’s no uni seat on it yet. I thought I’d duct tape some extra padding to the
front so that it would be shaped a little better.

Any success stories about getting little tykes interested in unicycles? Mine
gets on once and that’s enough for her. Maybe I shouldn’t have put her on it
that once when she was barefoot-- ouch!

Our nephew Daniel started demanding “ride” as soon as he saw a coker, infact as
soon as he saw a unicycle for real, so we got him going with a mini giraffe as
the coker is rather too big even for wheel walking at his age. ( about 20 month
when pics taken) Pictures at http://www.vimes.u-net.com/photos
