i saw this in a banner ad on the Lycos site
and i wondered if any of the NY-based uni clubs have ever thought of adding a new (uni)dimension to this program?
I think some Hawaii High Schools have a program similar to that. They take old bikes and fix them up to be given away to people who can’t afford one. The program is run at lower income schools and gives the students some mechanical training as well as a sense of responsibility.
