Can somebody tell me how to insert an avatar please?

Ah, this avatar thing is driving me nuts. The problem is that the picture isn’t a valid GIF or JPG file.
If it’s a picture you can open in Paint or something similar, choose “jpg” or “gif” from the list when you go to “Save As”. This will save it as a file you should be able to use as an avatar.

The thread says that avatar pics can be 50 x 50 pixels; actually (now?) they can be up to 60 x 60 or 20KB in size as far as I know.

ok i no the picture is crap but i finally put in an avatar i have been tring for ages and i did it yahoo!
