Australian Unicycles

This message is for Australian unicyclists.

After I spoke to the guy at my local bike shop he has promised not to sell
the crappy unicycle any longer. The model he now sells is the same one that
is sold as the ‘Nimbus’ in the UK and the ‘United’ in the USA. It comes with
a black viscount saddle.

The price is pretty good at $170- for a 20" wheel and $180- for a 24" wheel.

He is also willing to pay the first $15- of freight costs if you are a
member of the Australian Unicycle Society.

I am not getting any kick backs out of this, I am just happy to see a bike
shop willing to stock decent unicycles at a good price.

The shop details are:
Logan Road Cycles

Re: Australian Unicycles

You can get the same unicycles in sydney, though at a higher price.

Wooly’s wheels stock the 20" @ $180 and the 24" @ $229 with an alloy wheel.
They also have a united 6’ giraffe. Ive been eyeing that one off for a
while…

Its also possible to get them from Juggleart in Melbourne, and I think they
freight anywhere in Australia free of charge. They also happen to be very
nice people too. I try to deal with them as often as possible now, even
though Im in Sydney.

I am fairly sure that Juggleart charge freight on bulky items (like
unicycles).
Juggleart do provide a good service in bringing a lot of gear into
Australia.

The idea of supporting local business appeals a lot to me. It helps the
local economy and also means that you can get things when you want them
without having to wait and pay for delivery.

My 2 cents worth

Wayne.
