Aussie's going to Unicon

YHA Wellington City
12 days (27th-7th)
6 people
$1778.40 ($178 deposit)

thats only $300 per person for 12 nights so its not too bad and it certainly beats sleeping on the streets. people interested?? we need to get booked soon or else we will miss out!!

Don’t forget there is X-Base backpackers as well. They are also very close to Unicon venues and similar in price, and are sponsoring Unicon

Me and three others from Brisbane are going that I know of.

Would love to go, but during unicon there’s my daughter’s birthday, wife’s birthday and my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Next time I guess!

ah thanks ken that looks great!

now im incredibly busy with skool atm so im gona leave it to everyone else for a couple of weeks and ill c wat uve all come up with then.

wow i can c uve all made good progress with planning this. i might just plan my own stuff instead then

lol There’s still plenty of time. I don;t plan on spending $300 on accomodation. Even though I know it’s pretty cheap. I’d rather sleep in my car lol.

might seem like theres plenty of time but the YHA Central is already booked out and the rest prob wont last long either. and ill b ther for 12 nights and id like to get some proper sleep, and not sleep in a car or garage
3 nights in a garage was bad enuf dont u reckon alex?

might go, depends on how poor i am after i buy a car at the end of the year. probably very very poor. i gues ill have to save a bit maybe

I’m staying with family. Its a big house and I’m trying to pull some strings to let others stay.

Swag… Anywhere. Chris I’m inviting myself

wow i havent thought about this in a while…really should book flights and stuff! Joe are you still thinking of coming?

At the 2008 NZuniweekend, we stayed at this place:

The rooms are minimal, there’s pubic hair clogging up the shower holes etc.
But they’re REALLY cheap. It cost us about $16 per night, we bought our sleeping bags cause there’s no bedding. But it was really cheap, chances are we’ll be going there again for UNICON. It’s about a 10 min walk from Te Papa and the skate park, right in town.

um… or i could stay with chris and hav pubic hair clogging up the shower holes. but it would b even cheaper:D
