Audacity

Hey.

I downloaded Audacity ages ago, but have never actually used it. Can someone help me?

When I open it, and go and open a sound file, it says, ‘Audacity does not recognize this type of file. Would you like to try to import it as raw PCM audio data?’ If you click no, nothing happens, and if you click yes, it comes up as just a fuzzy crackle noise.

These are files I have copied from CD.

Please help me! How can I edit my music?

I’ve got Audacity and think it’s great. Check if it’s the type of file by trying to open one of your other songs (not taken from a CD)…

I just tried it out and realised that the program won’t open .wma files. I have no idea how to change them.
