Asian teams to Unicon

Hi,

I am making a last-ditch efforts to get teams from Korea, Singapore and Israel through my contacts there.
We already have Japan and China teams from Asia.

If anyone has any leads please let me know.

Jack,

Thanks for your efforts. This will be our very first NAUCC/UNICON and we are very excited about it, especially that we will get to experience UNICON for our first trip to a major convention. We have taken very simple family camping vacations in the past so this will be something complete new and different. My wife, Mary, and I are most excited though about the opportunity to meet and gain international friends. Our boys are 9 and 12 and we think this will be a major eye-opening experience for them.

We look forward to seeing you there and are counting the hours.

Bruce

It’s nice to hear from you. I am looking forward to seeing you and your
family again. You are the same Edward family that I know, right?

Re: Re: Asian teams to Unicon

Jack,

No, unfortunately we’ve not had the pleasure of meeting face to face yet…but I hope to remedy that very soon! These will be our first conventions other than Regionals at TCUC last April. The difference seems to be that our last name ends in “s”…Edwards.

See you in Seattle!

Bruce

RE: Asian teams to Unicon

Jack, Tom,

Just last week, and after struggling for 6 months, I managed to get the
Embassy in Manila to issue US VISAS to 9 delegates of the Filipino
Unicycling Assn. Inc (FUN).
With the stricter regulations at all US missions abroad now, this FEAT
should be considered a level 12!

Now we only need to come up with some money to get them to Seattle! No
matter what, you should see 5 - 6 and hopefully up to 9 FUN people at UNICON
11.

Hong Kong will; however, NOT be represented at this UNICON. Roz Beste and
her UNI Hockey Team are unfortunately not able to come up with the funds
needed for the trip :frowning:

Me?? Well I think I’ll be a Filipino this time around

Steve Dressler - Team Manager F.U.N.

“Have FUN, Be FUN, Ride for F.U.N.!”

P.S. Who will be coming from Singapore?

I don’t get this. I thought you were the director the HK unicycle society. Why can’t
YOU represent Hong Kong
