Help… the “random gadget of the month” urge is being replaced by a different urge; in particular a 5 or 6 foot high urge. Getting to lectures on a giraffe would be… like… yeah!
But I don’t really want to afford one, I’ve nowhere to put it, it’s totally impractical, Dad already complains about transporting the two I have home… but… but…
Aaaargh!!!
Phil, off to sit in the corner and rock back and forth while they come to take me away…
Phil, I really think you should get one. Picture how fun it would be! Your dad could, and would want to, make room for you. Just picture how happy, and proud of his little boy he’d be!
You absolutely need one. They are cheap, too! A real bargain
dude,
you REALLY need one, they are so cool, go to ebay or something, because they are dirt cheap. plus, you get all the women… when you ride down the streets, people slow way down, they all totally look up to you. and it’s always cool to say “i’ve got a giraffe at home, you want to see it. oh it’s only 6 feet tall, etc. etc.” i have had so many people believe me, then you laugh at them and walk away. so it’s for self esteem purposes, your father couldn’t say no to it if it were for your own good. and you can put up christmas lights fast, you just ride around the house and you are done, so its efficient. you just can’t beat a giraffe. plus being 6 ft above ground is better than 6 feet under.
Giraffe: cool, fun, confidence boosting. People do look at you for more than just a quick glance. They will think yoiu are crazy, (not that it’s a bad thing). I’m glad I got one, despite the negative ebay experience. I think that giraffe riding is something every unicyclist should experience.
Be careful of Ebay. You don’t save as much as you think in th long run. There is something to be said about customer service at Uni.com, none of that through ebay. "AS IS on ebay. Also, these ebay sellers, pick up one picture and description of a giraffe and reuse it for every different giraffe they sell. Becareful and do your resurce and cross checking.
go to a juggling club without your own uni and play on the girrafe for the whole sesion, you’ll soon get bored.
for the amount of use i get out of my girrafe i might as well not have it.
you can’t realy ride them from a to b, especialy not on the pavement (shop signs, canopys, ouch)
i’d sell mine if it wasn’t for the fact that i use it for work occasionaly.
i get no lesure time out of it whatsoever, at least not since i learned to freemount 99%
unless you’ve already got a trials uni, a muni and a freestyle uni.
some people (like sofa) realy enjoy girrafes though, maybe i’m just boring.
