has anyone ever gotten one of these, i got one a few years ago and i wuld definetly recomend to everyone, especially if you dont have a camera, video camera, or a MP3 player (an archos is all in one).There really big though compared to a normal MP3 player tho Its pretty cool, there pretty durable ive dropped mine lots and its been in my car when the weather has gotten to 10*F,
Ive taken a few pictures with mine, i will post them in a minute and ive taken a video but its not very high quality and i dont have the time to upload it, (im spose to be doing a 5 page report right now thats due tomorow

yeah archoses look cool. i might get one eventually, if something ever happens to my zen vision:M. also depends on the price…
I have an Archos Gmini 400 (they don’t make them anymore unfortunatly).
They also had a 402 cam which was basically the same thing but with a video camera in it.
At the time it came out, it was definatly the best device on the market for the price.
It was the same price as the iPod at the time, had the same size hard drive, but was in colour (ipod was not), played video and photo and games, all features the iPod couldn’t do, there were other players however that could do that aswell, but what really sets it apart is the fact that it has the card adapter on the size for ripping pictures off of cameras.
All in all I’m really impressed with Archos overall, amazing quality products for appropriate costs, something I have yet to see any other company produce.

It looks very stylish and small. But those photos you posted look like they were taken with a cell phone camera. Are you using the highest resolution/quality?
I was playing with my friends last night, which is identical to the one linked to, it basically is a cell phone camera, if you watch that video you can see the lens is perhaps 1mm across, looks juts like the camera module in a phone, no otical zoom or anything. She described it more as basically a hard drive wth a camera, rather than a camera with lots of storage. Alo apparently the menu system is slow and unintuitive.
Or a hard drive with a cell phone camera, rather than a camera with a decent-sized lens and CCD. 
really? i thot they came out pretty good, with my cell phone its always blurry when your moving, but i dont know a hole lot about cameras,
