April in Moab

I am taking an April trip to Moab–will I see any other unicyclists there?

arrive Salt Lake City on Thursday, April 19 at about noon. Leave Salt Lake City
on Sunday, April 22 at about 7pm.

Would anyone like to share a rental car? I will be staying at the Best Western
Canyonlands Inn.

David,

Jacquie and I have already bought tickets to fly to Salt Lake City for that
weekend, and hopefully drive down for some ridin’ on the slickrock. No
detailed plans yet. Jacquie’s brother David has a son (Kyle) who is a gung-ho
new unicyclist. If things work out he might be able to join us. At any rate, I
will definitely be there for Saturday and maybe part of Sunday (driving down
on Friday).

I am also in contact with a video guy who wants to come down and shoot some
footage, to hopefully sell to TV.

This is similar to our schedule. We should be able to figure something out.
Jacquie and I still have to work out with David what we can do (other than
visit) that weekend.

Is that down near Moab, or Salt Lake?

I’ve copied this to Brett Bymaster (who will be there) and the group in case
others might like to try and join us. Remember folks, there is also a group
going to Moab on March 30-April 1. Much as I’d like to have us all riding
together, Jacquie and I (and Brett) couldn’t make that weekend. Find out about
this other group: http://www.moabmunifest.homestead.com/

RE: April in Moab

The Best Western Canyonlands Inn is just a motel in Moab. It has a good
location–right at the center of town. Phone: 435-259-2300. I’ve never stayed
there, so I don’t know how good it is.
