i used to play diablo2 all the time and was wondering if anyone else did…

Distance yourself from computer games, they are addicting.

Do people really buy LOD characters? I think it would be pointless, specially when editors are so common in that game, I could go make any character I want, with maxed everything, any armor with any bonuses, and charms that have every bonus you can think of.
That sounds really pointless too…why not actually PLAY the game?
I’ve sold over $300 in Diablo II LOD items.
So yeah, people really do buy stuff in online games.
I have, then after that it feels pointless to play it, so I edited my character and just killed everything instantly and did a lot of pking type of stuff. Then that lasted a few days, and then I couldnt play it anymore. 
Haha, dang. I kew people bought some stuff, but with LOD being so easy to just make your items and stuff, it didnt seem to plausable to buy anything for the game.
Other games that are pretty much un-hackable, kinda Runescape seem a bit better for buying game items, but to me its a game, and im not wasting any money for it. (Unless its cheap membership, then I dont mind paying $5)

I know this is an old post, but you really got through all the levels with all the classes with all the different skill tree concentrations? That sounds like it would take a couple hundred hours of playing…
Yeah, but thats how I am on games like that. As soon as i beat it it, ill want to go through it with everything and get everything. Even back on old games like the first final fantasy and other rpgs like that. walk back and forth going through thousands of the same battle to level up, or killing tens of thousands of the same monster to get that one item drop. Otherwise i dont feel complete about the game.
Im doing the same thing with Dungeon Siege II: Broken World right now. Should be done in a another week or two, then ill hack the heck out of my characters and items and run around for a day causing chaos and uninstall it. haha.
That’s not really what I meant…I mean, I agree with you in feeling complete about the game, but I was more surprised by the fact that you did that in just a couple months. Did you do anything else during that time? lol
Oh haha, of course. You should know my sleeping schedule though from MR. Gotta do something while im up for an extra 12 hours almost every other night. If im not recording, unicycling, playing guitar or hanging out ill be gaming.
My friend actually got me back into Diablo (when I made my first posts in this thread) so hed come over with his laptop and do multiplayer with me. Order a pizza, have a movie up, some pop, and wed play until we passed out. Pretty fun most times.
I’m waiting for Diablo 3. Until then Too Human and Resident Evil 5 hold me over.
Diablo 2 is so 2000.
