I bought a used 36" unicycle last thanksgiving, and am now wondering exactly what I bought. It looks like a Nimbus Titan Frame, but it is the wrong tube size (it’s 22 mm). It also has a chrome (steel) wheel rim, which makes it particularly heavy. The tire is a Coker tire. I son’t see any identifying company name on it except the Nimbus CroMo 36 hole hub, and the KH saddle. I am interested in finding out exactly what it is I have, and would also love to know what the weight of this beast is.
It sure looks like a Coker Big One frame. Maybe someone just took the stickers off of it. The steel rim came on the original Cokers. If you want to know its weight, I would recommend weighing it. Mine weighed 27 pounds if I remember correctly. I don’t know if I weighed it with an air saddle or a Viscount saddle on it.
It looks like a digital picture. The dimensions are 800x640. And is 67.55kb.
Thats all the info I can give you. Good luck!
Wasn’t “anyone know what this is?” one of Weiner’s tweets?
I think Harper nailed it. An old-school “Big One” Coker with an after-market seat.
How much did you pay?
Or is it rude to ask that?
I got it for 200, it also had a brake (hose clamp mounted on forks, no brake mounting already on the forks), I removed it because it had a handle that rubbed my inner thigh as I pedaled. I’d like to find a spoon type brake lever to put on the brake and then re-install it.
Sounds like a good buy to me.
