Depends on what you’re looking for. For contemporary Jazz, you can’t go wrong with the Marsalis family, but I prefer older jazz. Try Charlie Mingus, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Luis Armstrong, Thelonious Monk, Quincy Jones. There are a lot of great artists out there, but there are also those that really suck, so you have to be careful.
You might try Keith Oxman, GREAT jazz musician.

Oh, and NEVER dowload jazz.

Roy Hargrove is good, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Buddy Rich big band, Gene Krupa Big band, John Coltrane, Thelonius Monk, T.S. Monk, The Bad Plus, Rahsaan and his Arkestra, ahh many more.

I am a jazz drummer, jazz is my favorite music alongside hip hop, I don’t like crunk hip hop. Good hip-hop like the Roots, Mos def, Talib Kweli, Common.

Oscar Peterson, String Cheese Incident, and Ray Charles :sunglasses: i love jazz. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is more swing but still good. Galactic is a bit of Funk but hey its real good, and Diana Krall is a real good jazz singer. Hope this helps :slight_smile:
