Anyone into r/c stuff?

Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone else here was into radio controlled stuff.

I have had an electric buggy for ages, and this christmas got a nitro one. I love it so much!!! The power is awsome. I have already bust the front drive shaft (it is 4wd) as I had too much lock on the steering - it wore out the pins, but I replaced it today

I also got a cosworth shell, which i am about to give another coat of paint.

Anyone into cars, boats, bikes, helis, planes etc?

Oh, I made a site for me and my mates r/c cars: WhitleyBayRC.4t.com

Cheers,

Joe,

I know a “little” about RC stuff. I have a RC-soar plane. I’ve had it for a couple of years now. I haven’t used it for a while. I had a “nitro” plane too, but it was a little bit too faswt for a beginner and crashed. I think the motor was a bit too big. 0.40. I prefer electric stuff more. Cleaner and doesn’t require as much maintenance. And now that brushless motors are available, powers not an issue anymore.

I have an MP3 player that holds 1.5 gb of anything. I’m currently listnening to it.

Does it have a remote? Otherwise i fail to see relevance.

a remote control unicycle would be cool you could put someone on who couldn’t ride and then control it so they can experience the wonderful world of unicycling

All my stuff is old school, but I did the first conversion of an RC10 with a .21 (90 or 91). Only problem, it breaks every use. Heres a picture of an update version, originally I had a belt drive off some other car. Belt was not reliable enough. When the cell phone towers started popping up, my radios were no longer working properly.

The most fun you can have with remote controlled stuff… I haven’t laughed this much for ages, it hurts!

Phil

i love how cats are stupid

Yes, I’ve been playing around with toy aircraft for years, R/C slope soarers mainly but also a bit of powered stuff and helicopters, mind you I seem to have left it alone since getting into MUni, mind you when my uni skills improve enough I want to try and ride and fly at the same time.

i used to be really into R/C stuff. I bought a 300 dollar E-Maxx (a remote control monster truck) and about a month after i realized how much of complete waste of time, space and money it was.

I have had my r/c car now for 5 weeks.

I have used it quite a bit, but not that much lately.

It wasnt runing very well, but it is sort of sorted now.
I dont have that much time for it, but when i do go out, we have a blast!

Joe,

I have a Team Associated TC3. I got it a few years ago. The only track by me is sort of far away and I don’t use it much anymore.

Eletric TC3

I’ve a r/c tc3 by team asscociated. Its real nice
