Have any of you guys ever made any kind of mini ramp, quarter pipe or anything? if so, what was the size/cost of what you built. Implanning on building something, i was thinking a micromini ramp but im not sure yet.
I have a 4’ mini ramp.
I hired some skaters to help me build it, and they did an awesome job.
it’s pretty big, but it’s awesome.
you want it to be really wide (like 2.5 times the height)
I do a lot lip tricks, so I had it built with really steep tranny.
also, if you lay the wood down diagonally it’s a lot smoother.
Skatelight is nice for skating, but I just used masonite which I sealed.(my way is alot cheaper)
I think it costed about $2,500… so it was pretty pricey.
Hehe I paid nothing for the materials on the one I had. Got it pretty much all at the dump. Oh wait I paid $40 sorry:o . I bought some stuff that they put under flooring and it’s like super slick. You gotta paint it but it works just dandy. I wish I had it when I got into bcing 
If you’re not gonna be skating on it, then it doesn’t matter if the surface is a little rough. Unicycles don’t bump about as much as skate wheels do.

most vert ramps cost about $30,000 I’m pretty sure that the X-games one was about $65,000
ps. I seal it so it’s nice and slick.

also, it’s nice for flatland if your on the flatbottom, but the tranny isn’t that great for unis.
ps. I seal it for 2 reasons. 1 - It’s really nice and slick/smooth for skating, 2. - It makes the wood last much longer.

actually, I did pay for about a fourth of it, but the rest was 2 years worth of no other birthday presents.
