Anybody uni in a skate park ?

I love going to the skatepark but I find that I don’t really like going often with my friends as they aren’t into the kind of riding that is well suited to a skatepark.

I found this sticky on another website and I find its a great way of seeing whether or not you will benefit from going to a skate park. If you can follow all of those rules and still have a good time then skateparks are right for you.

I find that skateparks are great as long as you ride it like you are on a skateboard, otherwise you are just getting in other peoples way and its just rude to the people using it with respect.

Do not do trials in the park! Riding a skatepark should be flowy. Trials consists of slowing and stopping, which stops other riders. If you must, do it on the sides out of people’s way and make sure no one else is riding there.

Riding skateparks might be my favorite type of riding. I find it very annoying when stupid little kids always gawk and ask me questions though, i like to be left alone when i ride, which can be hard at times. At the park i ride there are great rails at just the right height. Someone mentioned in a previous post about dropping in on a uni; yes it is very simple, even a 360 drop. But someone mentioned a 180 drop, damn that seems very difficult.
My only advice, if its worth anything is to be confident while riding the park. It you arn’t very good and you know it, dont go. Practice practice practice!! You make us look bad if you go there and make a fool of yourself and get in the way of other people’s flow. Word from the wise
