My mom got one earlier tonight and now i just got a fake email from ebay, it says your account info is incomplete or changed and to go to there website to update it:

I got one of those today, but never on the email account that’s used for my eBay registration. Go figure? Same with my PayPal account. Never get the PayPal phishing spam on my PayPal account email address.
Yes, very common attempt to investigate the contents of your bank account and conclude that you are too rich.
I have started to invent names and bank account numbers etc, with which to reply to these guys. If they have to filter through lots of made up accounts, maybe they will have less time to milk the accounts of those who knew no better. Either way “George Bush” has responded to 9 or 10 of these Phishing attempts so far. And Tony B. Liar has responded a few times too.
