i was just wondering are there any other mormon unicyclists on here
andrewfif posts here sometimes, he’s Mormon…and Dallin Stoker, who doesn’t ever post here but he’s the star of the movie mUNIac, is Mormon.
Probably some other people too.
im inactive
I’m not mormon, so I’ll only use this one post. Could one of the mormon unicyclists PM me with some information about mormonism? I’ve always been curious as to the doctrine, and I would really like help separating facts from fiction.
cool i didnt know dallin was a mormon, i suspected he might be from what ive seen but i wasnt sure. ill pm u a website about it spazdude
here’s an interesting look at it.
im not bothering to look at that coz i know whatever it is, if its bad its bogus. and anything to do with southpark is a load of rubbish
It’s actually not that bad, yeah it is pretty much trying to disprove Mormonism, but not in the typical South Parkian way.
Dallin Stoker is my two freinds roomate(possibly ex roommate cause i think they moved) up at BYU idaho.
From what they have told me, he is a little bit odd.
,
A mormon, does not make
The link pionts out the faults with the South Park episode about Mormons. Oh well…
I am lds and I can unicycle. Same with my friend Andy (realmenuni).
This seems to be the way to get a thread like this going, huh?
I believe paco is Mormon too.
For spazdude, I live in an area with a large Mormon population, and I find lots of them have slightly different understandings of Mormon doctrines, so you may get a few answers that confuse you unless you have a bit of an understanding of LDS history and doctrine. Your best bet is to do some of your own research and read up on Mormon doctrine, and then that will help you understand the variety of answers that you will probably get from anybody that messages you. Having the background may also help you understand why the variety. A big part of it is the fact that the LDS church has undergone some significant changes since its beginnings back in the 19th century.
How does one go about becoming a mormon? I rather like the idea of multiple wives! Plus I was thinking of moving to Utah anyway, (Moab-yeah!) so it might work out perfectly!
Hehe. Do they have more than one wife? I know they got a lot of children usually. Not trying to be rude. But like whats up with the whole deal on not drinking coffe?
The founders of Mormonism, namely Joseph Smith and Brigham Young, each had about thirty wives…which is really very odd, because it says several times in the Book of Mormon that polygamy is strictly forbidden.
As for not drinking coffee, one of the scriptures says that ‘hot drinks’ are forbidden which actually means anything with caffeine, but a lot of Mormons only choose to not drink coffee specifically.
30 wives! No hot drinks! Odd. Only cold tap water. And if the fridge is jiggered too bad…
Man that’s good, because I could NEVER give up my diet cherry pepsi! As for coffee, what about cold, like those starbuck fraps? MMMMM, good!
I have 7 adopted Japanese cousins, all of which are LDS Mormons. However, I still think that this video is fricken hilarious.
