...any longboarder dudes here?

Now that I’m back to uni’ing the longboards have been seriously dusted off as well… its another great way to ‘balance’!

Anyhow, just wondered if any of you also had the longboarding habit? If so, what and where do you ride?

For myself, I have a 43 inch Powell longboard with 183 mm trucks and 75 mm wheels and then, my really favorite and all round town board, the Landyachtz Mummy a 33 inch GS board with a carbon fibre laminate deck and 158 Indys with 65 mm Kyptos. I like to carve and do some gentle giant slalom stuff.

Longboarding and unicycling: ‘cross training’…LOL

I have a longboard to i made my own deck 78mm wheels apx. 48" im not sure what trucks they’re older but work good.

Cool Tim, so where you usually skate? And do you bomb hills or mostly carve?

Longboarding takes on a whole different meaning in Hawaii. It usually involves getting wet

Ohhhh yessss, that’s actually my favorite type of longboarding but seeing as the water is awesome cold here… we hit the streets…

I used to surf alot on a longboard, and somtimes on this little shortboard i would do little tricky stuffs. Buti used to love sandboarding that was fun… ecept when you faceplanted or your toes dug into the sand and like yanked your feet.

i like to bomb down hills. i like the speed but i do like a good carve but its hard around here to many cars.

So where’s ‘around here’?

around here is PA near philadelphia

OK, thanks - too bad you’re rather far away for getting together to do some skating…

Ein means one and gross mean big great. your a super star boy or girl why you still up in the hood.

Im looking to make a longboard in Woodwork at school the next time i get a chance. My friends brother used to make a bunch of them and then buy some trucks and wheels from replay.
