Here’s a video I put together the other day (filmed on New Year’s Eve)… it came out pretty good… a hefty download at about 14Megs for nearly 3 minutes of video, but it’s more or less worth it. If you’re interested, the skills demonstrated are: riding on a curb, a bunch of hops & spins, gliding, one foot idling, a ramp jump, a gliding ramp jump (!), and other nonsense. It comes with background music, so enjoy!
You’v got some mad skills, Tron. Those repeated 180 hops were great- you should name your uni “Lightcycle”. I particularly appreciate that you did not omit small failures from the flic- they can be just (if not more) illuminating as a properly performed skill.

(BTW: I found all the image mixing a horrable distraction. You’r the star of the film, man, not some imaging studio. While I am fortunate to be on a fast connect, you might consider laying your credits over image to avoid some poor shmuck from waiting 15 to download noth’n but credits. My 2 cents. Send more!)
it took me 1 and half hours to get it on my 56k but i dont mind.the only reason i got a computer is for uni stuff,so short or tall big or small, bring them on(you calling me and my 56k a shmuck,Rhysling)joking.anyway tron,i forgot how much better Everlast was before he went solo.i heard he had a heart attack years ago, and after he recoverd there was no more shamrocks and shinanigens.thanks for the video

If that’s the best video you’ve seen so far, you really need to get a copy of UNiVerse… THAT is a good uni video. I can’t wait to see One Tired Guy as well…
It’s a Divx-encoded video (great compression, high processor demand). Go to http://www.divx.com/ for the necessary codecs and such… if that doesn’t work I can’t help.
Uh oh, that’s no good. I can’t remember exactly where I got the drivers from… it was a while back. I guess to all those who don’t have the codecs, just do a search for them and try to find a reputable place to download from.
My favorite part of the video clip was the idling (32 seconds into the
video
clip). The slow motion was VERY useful! Watching your idling skills has
given me a greater idea of how to idle. However, I’m still struggling
with idling. I have spend a total of 2 hours or so practicing on it.
How long it take you to learn idle?
Anyway, keep posting your video links in the future.
I can’t remember exactly, but it’s still a skill I’m working on stabilizing… I want to juggle while idling, which is rather difficult. I probably spent a week practicing to get a rough idle… probably about 5 - 8 hours worth. One tip I can give is to not just practice idling to learn idling ( get it? ) One thing that helps me with just about all skill is to ride as slow as possible without twisting or flailing my arms much. I just have a small routine I use to get warmed up before I can seriously practice.
Keep up the good work and videos! After watching the video I started working on my hopping. I went from being able to hop up and down once to being able to hop in circles, hop a 180 in the air, and small stuff like that. Thanks.
