Another Santa Cruz Muni ride

We had rain predicted for today but those weathermen are sometimes so wrong. It was absolutely gorgeous. So 7 of us did a 9 mile Muni ride at Soquel Demonstration Forest near Santa Cruz, Calif, including the famous Braille Trail. This was the Friday ride at Cal Muni Weekend 2002. We are so lucky to have T-shirt weather all winter and today was no exception. I’m looking forward to lots more Muni rides this winter - it is just so fun.

Also I’ve updated the album showing our cycles with Beau’s new Yuni and Hunter36: http://community.webshots.com/album/29172825KykoOOuIOY

That looks like a really awesome ride! I love the expressions on the faces of the people trying to clear that ramp.

I’m sorry I missed this ride. I’ll be sure to try and make the next one.

Way cool, Nathan!

Thanks for posting the pictures!

Nice, Nathan. Hope we (SBUC) can get up there some day soon.

That was an awesome ride, I highly recommend this trail to anyone who can make it to the Santa Cruz area.

I couldn’t ask for better riding partners!

Any plans for another Santa Cruz ride anytime soon?

This weekend it’s Mt Diablo Muni on Sunday. 3+ hour ride followed by the usual lunch and beer in Danville. Meet at the Albertson’s at the 680 & Diablo Rd intersection in Danville at 10:30am. It’s about a 45 minute drive from San Jose. Or come over to my house at 9:30 to carpool.

We’ll do another Santa Cruz one soon.
