Another Introduction thread?

Yep, another.

Just a quick introduction (I get long winded sometimes, so I’ll keep this short)

I’m a sophomore Music Education major from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA.
My 3 loves in life are my upright bass, video games, and my unicycle =)

I received my unicycle from Santa for Christmas and have made a point to have my butt on that seat for at least an hour a day since.

I’m also a music lover of all kinds, so if theres a dedicated music thread or something, 70% of my posts will probably end up there =X

So ya. Hai =D

hello.
Welcome.

upright bass, very cool. I play ukulele and electric guitar myself. I also enjoy video games, console or pc?

Must it be kept upright at all times?

mind you don’t tilt it over and spill music everywhere.

king of suedes mother: “oh no king of suede you have left your upright bass against the kitchen door, i came in with an arm full of groceries and knocked it over, now there is raw music all over the floor. how many times must i tell you? come clean it up, put down that video game, you can pause it.”

bloody mums.

Dane: Cool, man. I have a uke myself and dabble in some classical guitar. But mostly just play Iron & Wine kind of finger picking stuff xD Mostly PC for me, CS:S, BFBC2, DOD:S for the most part.
My latest console is the PS2 haha (being a college student with no job makes it tough to get new consoles), which I recently started a game of San Andreas =)

Tobb: Yeah, it’s gotta stay upright all the time. Who’s ever heard of a kindofslanted bass? That would just sound terrible.
And music dont come from the instrument, it comes from you, baby.

Welcome to the forum King of Suede, that’s one more of us, one less of them.

I used to play bass in a band or three in a previous life, always wanted to try the upright. Quite enjoyed what Casey did for the instrument on the latest season of American Idol.

On the music front, I err on the side of the bagpipes.
At least I can play my instrument while riding a uni.
