Can you make a DVD that’s not actually on disk but saved on the computer? So can you therefore make a (lower quality of course) DVD downloadable?

Maybe you could use something like the Nero Image drive, but I really don’t know how it works. Or just convert the DVD to DivX or XVid or something similar.
But if possible I want to be able to use the menus and all the DVD features like scene select.
Hmm, can’t see a way of keeping menus and things.
You could make a SVCD from it, and thus keep the chapter points, for scene selection. I believe there’s a guide on http://www.doom9.org
However, most DVDs would contain copyright material, and thus it would be illegal to provide them for others to download
