to protect against the evil KH20 nubs. They worked pretty darned good, except when the nubs kept hitting the protection and then ripped the hard piece of plastic out. So now, I’m going to buy a new pair. But not the same kind. I’m looking at one of these:

Murde_Mental told me that the Pro-Tec BMX Ankle Guards (the first link) work very well for him. And they’re cheaper.
what does anyone else suggest?

My brother has the pro-tec. He uses them for skateboarding. They are pretty comfortably. I have never used the 661 ones but the dont look as comfy and the more expencive. I would go with the pro-tec.
