Angular momentum

When I was first learing how to ride a uni, clutching with both hands onto a
railing and moving myself along, I thought that if I could get up some speed, it
might be easier to stay on the darn thing. Well, I got to the point where I
could zoom right along with the help of that railing, but riding at a
medium-slow pace seemed just as stable (if not moreso due to my inexperience)
that riding fast. I realized that what little benefit recieved by angular
momentum of the wheel probably didn’t matter much (it certainly didn’t feel like
it, anyway).
