Yep, how many 18 y/os earn enough money to afford their own home? In the UK it’s pretty difficult to find anything for less than £100,000, to get a morgage for this you need to be earning £33,000 a year AND have atleast £20,00 cash upfront for the deposit. Sure you can rent but you get no return for your money, you’re effectively throwing it away. Hence I’m 21 and i still live at home half the year, and rent a place for the other half.

and dan, living at home kicks ass. I dont have to pay rent, food is cooked for me and i have no obligation what-so-ever to stay there. I spend more time at my girlfriends, or other friends with flats’s flats… , yet still have somewhere to keep shit. my home
