I don’t know who put this together but, they deserve a lot of credit. (This is not meant to start flame war with those who think America is evil, or blame Bush rather than Bin Laden and the hijackers, who had been planning 9/11 long before the Iraq war.)
" AMERICA !"
Osama Bin Laden, your time is short;
We’d rather you die, than come to court.
Why are you hiding if it was in God’s name?
You’re just a punk with a turban; a pathetic shame.
I have a question, about your theory and laws;
“How come you never die for the cause?”
Is it because you’re a coward who counts on others?
Well, here in America , we stand by our brothers.
As is usual, you failed in your mission;
If you expected pure chaos, you can keep on wishing
Americans are now focused and stronger than ever;
Your death has become our next endeavor.
What you tried to kill, doesn’t live in our walls;
It’s not in buildings or shopping malls.
If all of our structures came crashing down;
It would still be there, safe and sound.
Because pride and courage can’t be destroyed;
Even if the towers leave a deep void.
We’ll band together and fill the holes
We’ll bury our dead and bless their souls.
But then our energy will focus on you;
And you’ll feel the wrath of the
Red, White and Blue.
So slither and hide like a snake in the grass;
Because America’s coming to kick your ass!!!
I’m all right with just catching the bastard. I’d prefer to not think of my country as having it’s entire will focused on killing someone, even him.
Speaking of catching him, I found it humorous how, in the last few days, the Republicans were highlighting all the lost opportunities the Clinton administration had to “take him out” over the years. At that time he wasn’t a WTC-destroyer; his priority level was a bit lower. Since 9/11 his priority has gone through the roof. After five years the Bush administration has nothing to show on the search for that one guy (others have been found). Why point the fingers?
I don’t think anyone on either side of the aisle is against capturing Bin Laden and holding him accountable for his actions.
I hope he does get tried in a court rather than just offed by some hothead because that’s what civilized countries do. I would like to think that the United States is still a civilized country.
But the truth is we’re not really looking for him anymore anyway. Bush gave that up awhile ago. He’s been offered up several times but the U.S. continues to decline.
You would have thought his time was short but it’s already been 5 years.
The 9/11 attacks were planned before the Iraq War, but the Iraq War was also planned before 9/11.
It wasn’t the Republicans bring up the missed opportunities, but Clinton’s denying he had any that brough all this back up. The result of an ABC documentary that was likely written by a liberal.
As for the time frame,
How long did it take to get the Unibomber, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Henry Lee Lucas, William Bonin, Jason Wayne McVean or even Eric Rudolph?
This guy is highly protected and disinformation to protect him is the norm. Corrupt government officials that we often have to collaborate with tip him of before we have the chance to catch him. Clinton had him in the cross hairs, and didn’t pull the trigger so to speak.
We will catch him, it’s just a matter of time. As long as he is on the run, it will be difficult for him to have a meaningful impact as a commander in the fight to destroy the US.
I think he needs to be in a Prison forever. Death is too good for him. The rest of his life in solitary would be perfect. Deep in the Federal Prison were they keep Usef and that red hatted holy man. Just him and his warped thoughts.
Rare time I feel like the death penalty is the wrong choice.
You might want to do some research there. You might want to google director David L. Cunningham and writer Cyrus Nowrasteh before making such an assumption.
obviously, im all for catching osama, but jesus! wtf are we doing in iraq?!? that will, and has got us nowhere. osama doesnt hate us for our freedoms, as frequently stated by our president, but he hates us for our support for israel. if we didnt do so many things that made half the world hate us, maybe we wouldnt be in such predicaments. that is to say, the actions of terrorists are unforgivable, and have no excuse whatsoever, but a better understanding of the motivation of such people should give critical insight into creating a more effective foreign policy, that doesnt put america and her people in the line of such hatred.
It’s funny, Osama Bin Laden thinks the war in Iraq is very important. Too bad we have so many apologists here in the US. Why do you need to know anything other than they have a religious idology that states world domination, and that we all submit to Allah. When the quickest way to Allah is death in a war with the infadels, what logic can use to explain that away.
According to Dr. Daniel Pipes, Omar Ahmad, the long-serving chairman of CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, reportedly told a crowd of California Muslims in July 1998, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran … should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”…To read more…
That honestly is not what Islam teaches…sure it teaches everyone should submit to Allah, but that everyone needs to find that path on their own, if they so choose. Americans, Christians, Jews, etc. are not “infidels” according to the Qur’an. You ought to read it.
And no references to op-eds and other opinion writings cause they’re not valid sources either. Are only scholarly works and PhD theses the only allowable sources?
So how about avoiding the ad hominem and address the issues in the blog instead of dismissing all blogs in general. If there are issues in the blog post you don’t agree with then enumerate them. If there is a reason why that particular blog should be taken with a grain of salt then say so.
Well it’s clearly an agenda-ed anti-muslim blog. So clearly quoting it in quoting one idividual who is claiming that “this is what al muslims stand for” does not mean that’s actually what all muslims stand for.
Anytime that a non-Muslim acts like they know what Muslims believe, or what their religion thinks or believe is not someone worth listening to.
Anyone who mentions 72 virgins in relation to Terrosism is not worth listening to.
Anyone that thinks Jihad means “holy war” is not worth listening to.
It’s not about what is written the the Qur’an. It’s about how it is interpreted by the extremists. It’s not about reading the Qur’an, it’s about understanding the culture that creates suicide (homicide) bombers and terrorists, and oppressive governments.
It’s not just about Israel. The Middle East would hate us and the west regardless. They need a country to hate. All authoritarian governments need something and someone to hate to redirect the anger and frustration of their citizens. North Korea does it. The Middle East does it. They need to tell the people that the reason their lives are so miserable is because of America/the west/Israel/whatever. Hate them, fight them, they are the reasons for your ills. Anti-Americanism is indoctrinated, taught in schools. It is a result of a lifetime of oppression and propaganda.
You can’t simplify it down to just our support of Israel. It is more than that. They would hate us regardless because they need someone to hate.
We can’t ignore the Middle East either. We have to be involved there because they have influence over the world and we need oil. As long as we have to be involved over there we are going to be the target of hate from them.
It is the flaws in their own governments and their third world and second world lifestyle that brings about the conflicts. It’s not just Israel or the US. It is more than that. And, of course, I am also guilty of simplifying things here.
