We had a windstorm here last week. Usually don’t see seas like this in our little Puget Sound. A friend sent me an e-mail with these picks, I found a site that had them posted.

I wish I could see more of the ferry design: remember the ferry sailing across the English Channel with its bow doors open…and sinking. I hope your ferry has a different structure and set up.
But regardless of design I would have been very worried on your Puget Sound ferry.

The ferries we have in the Puget Sound are not ocean going ferries. They would not be able to sail the English Channel or other similar bodies of rough water.
Here’s one of the larger ferries that runs from Seattle. You can see it has an open bow and stern allowing cars to drive on and drive off. There are no doors on the bow or stern.
