Almost shot at again

The other weekend I rode Newport Beach, CA to Balboa. On my return ride, a
person in a white Chevy Blazer was aiming a gun at me outside the passenger
window. There was a cop car directly in front of the vehicle, and I believe this
is why he did not shoot.

I got kind of pissed that I couldn’t do anything, so ended up riding back to
Newport along the boardwalk at about 18 MPH to get the aggression out. Really
freaked some people out.

Well, this is my 2nd gun incident while riding uni, but I keep riding. It would
be sad if my time to go is while riding uni.

You might have mentioned the guy with the gun to the cop? Can’t blame you if you
didn’t though, my first move would have been to get behind something solid.

If you want my advice, it is your time to go. To a different city that
is.

Speaking as a Brit (i.e. the 2nd amendment = insanity) it’s hard to imagine that
the moron in question would actually pull the trigger. But then again, I’d love
to put the wind up some of the idiots who share the roads with me - how badly
were you riding when he saw you?
