We were camping this past July 4th weekend and found this spider crawling around on our picnic table. Notice the alien face on it’s back. It was very fast. Any hobby etomologists want to take a stab at identifying it?

That spider looks neat.
Well, I posted to a spider bulletin board and found out that our little friend is a crab spider.
Crab spiders can change colors to match their surroundings and are pretty much a harmless little garden spider. Sure was a unique shot we got of ours.
