This is probably just a shot in the dark, but there seem to be a fair amount of well read individuals here. Does anyone have anything interesting to say about Alain Badiou? I’ve been somewhat casually trudging my way through the English translation of Being and Event. I’ve found trying to comprehend it challenging at best, and impossible at worst–perhaps I need to read something more introductory first, or maybe I need to be less lackadaisical about it. Any advice of how to read him would be appreciated.
