air force current/former

i’m thinking about enlisting as a firefighter in the air force and was wondering if anyone wanted to share their experiences in the air force. anything from basic training through the end. did you like it? would you do it again? anything would help really. i’m leaning towards enlisting but still unsure at this point.

No idea but you probably have the chance to go all round the world. That sounds pretty good. There are about 4 US airbases here, come here if you get the chance lol

Isn’t joining the Air Force to be a firefighter kind of like going to an auto race to see the crashes?

I guess.

But it’s a noble profession and somebody has to do it! It’s probably less scary than being a Navy firefighter on a carrier deck…

There are so many things you could do for a living.

Being a circus clown is much safer, and since you unicycle, you’re halfway there.

safe?! pffff. firefighting has a rush. i must say it is the best job ever.

so is anyone here current/former air force? or maybe any other branch?

I’m from a real branch

I served in The United States Marine Corps from 03-07 with a stop in Iraq for 9 miserable months. I was stuck in Fallujah, horrible name isnt it? sounds like an STD

Everyone is now glad the Pentagon To Allow Photos Of Returning War Dead.

Bush was ashamed, but he personally had reason to be.

No one else has reason to hide a flag-draped coffin. No shame there.
