I turn my back for five minutes and what reports do I hear?
We are a bunch of eccentrics who ride one wheeled bikes for fun. No need to fall out, folks. I have always cherished this forum as the friendliest place on the internet.
One wheel, one love
Let’s get together and feel alright
Not sure the point of the thread, but if it’s a showing appreciation thread then yes, I too very much enjoy this forum and how it lets me connect and share with the wonderful, yet small, community that is unicycling.
As for the friendliest place, I’d have to disagree, ukulele forums are happier, and I bet a knitting forum would be even more-so
Personally, as a white guy in a 90% white country , now living in a half black neighborhood, where I feel zero racial tension, I made comments that pissed off Gild. He now lives in an 90 % black nation, where the "change over ", from “Jim Crow”, to the present has been much different to him personally, than it was to me in the USA. The USA ended “Jim Crow”, about 25 years before SA. So the change must be very different for him. And his country is 90% black and, well, at an emotional level , I like Gild’s response. It took me a week to think about it, but that is what made it good.
I am glad Gild is on the forum. All our forum riders from every country have different interesting stories to tell.
