Advice on road going wheel size

Also for the 29" crowd. You can find XC MTB tire in the 2"-2.35" range that have very little to no tread that roll really well. I currently use a continental race king for road riding.

having been in somewhat of the same boat, i feel like most of the dilemma comes from not being able to try before you buy, coupled with the nagging feeling that the grass is greener on the other side. If anything, I think it’s a comforting fact that people eventually own most sizes, and that adjacent sizes (24 vs 26, 26 vs 29 etc.) are negligible.

Hi, your height is irrelevant, it’s all about your inside leg measurements /seam.

For example, I’m 5ft 9 inches, but my inside leg measurement is about 30/31 inches. So generally speaking, anything your average 6ft person can straddle, so can I.

When I used to ride Unicycles regularly, my favourite was/is still the 36ers.

If you’re planning to start out on one, as someone else has suggested here, get a multi hole crank to find out which length suits you best…be it 150 or 170

I second that.
Except I would suggest a multihole 100/125/150 crackarm
