Adult sites at search engines

I am just right now with a porno company in negotiations about delivering
my seminar.

I have my last experience with this 1999 with to.live-girls.de

Anything about search engines and new problems with adult sites?

No experience with this since 1999

And it didn’t do that well in 99 huh

Don’t depend on the SE’s to bring you paying traffic. (they wont)

think links, feeder sites, and a good webmaster program.

IF you go the SE way be prepared to cloak and to spend full time working the
SE’s

15.000 visitors per month by searchengines, but the company had $15.000 fixed
costs per month and a bad credit card solution.

Their bad credit card solution was not possible to use with MSIE. The morons at
the software company delivering the credit card system tolled them

“This does not matter, nearly nobody uses MSIE, everone is using Netscape”

But the log files of my advertising front end showed begining 1999 75%
MSIE users.

Was 1999 the only line and a successfull line

What changed since 1999?

Your bragging about a poor statistic? With a porn site (pay site) your
looking for at least 15,000 new visitors a day.

Not from what you said. 500 new visitors a day is successful? It might be to a
water desalination website, but not to a porn site.

More competition, better technology, more knowledge, more $$$, more rules, more
work etc…

Like I said use links, feeder sites and a good webmaster program.

It had less than 40 pages. What do You expect from a $1500 web site ?!?

===========You just wrote in an other thread =============
Looks like all of sex.com’s “links” are sponsored. Lets say he has a .5% sign up
rate that’s 125,000 sign-up’s a day. Now the average porn program pays out
around $35.00 per sign up.

After this, and this is Your calculation 500 visitors a day, 5% are 25 sign-up’s
times $35 gives $875 a day.

So You would say a web page is bad, what should bring according to Your
calculation $875 a day for an investment of $1500?

I wrote in the same thread, 0.5% sign up rate is much more realistic. But also
this would be $87.5 per day.

I said .5% look up there ^ you even quoted me saying .5%

500 * .5% = 2.5 sign-up’s up a day times $35 gives $87.5

$1500 + hosting + bandwidth… Adult site are a whole new ballgame a 50mb
storage + one gig bandwidth on an adult friendly host cost between $50 to $75 a
month. Dedicated adult servers + good bandwidth are around $1,500 to $2,000 a
month. And you will need lots of bandwidth.

anyway think small earn small.

When I deliver a seminar, I will recommend at last 200 pages minimum as
advertising frontend.
