Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it’s pretty cool, and would definitely ride one, if they ever got it into production. (The RYNO been in the prototype stage for years. Never seems to make it into production.)
Interestingly, I don’t like “self-balancing unicycles” (or the “ultimate wheel” variants), even though they’re pretty much the same thing. I must be a hypocrite. Oh well.
As someone who rides sportbkes and unicycles, I’ve always wanted to see a combination of the two. I saw the RYNO and just about started running up to the bank for a loan when I saw they topped out at something like 10mph.
I can ride way faster than that on my 36" and actually burn calories doing so!

It looks nice, but it does feel a bit like cheating. At least with a unicycle you have to keep the balance yourself. It is more of a challenge to ride, which makes it a lot of fun. And… you can’t even hop with the uni-motor-cycle.
