I’ve been riding a unicycle for 30 years … I do take a break now and then! I
recently bought my 10 year old son a nice 20" Schwinn at a garage sale for $25.
With a little coaching he learned to ride in a few weeks.
A father and son riding their unicyles into the sunset . . . Cool!

Cool! > > >Hi Preston. When I married my wife 17 years ago, she and her sister rode
unicycles. I just had to learn. It looked like a lot of fun. I did learn. It
took me a couple of weeks holding on to everything in sight before I broke away
and was on my own. Well, a few years ago, we saw a Schwinn unicycle at a garage
sale, kids size, cheap. We picked it up and hung onto it thinking our daughter
would one day want to try. This summer, she did try. And now we are a 3 unicycle
family, riding off into the sunset etc., etc.,
My whole family can ride unicycles, except for my wife. I have two sons, Alberto
Jr. & Javier, and a dughter, Margarita. I do love when all of us can ride
together, especially in Old San Juan (Puerto Rico) or in a road by the sea.
There are a lot of unicycling families around. Most people don’t realize that it
can be a wonderful family activity.
