A T 7 Touring Handle

I was wondering if the new A T 7 handle could fit onto a normal KH seat show here. http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=666

I don’t have any kind of rail adaptor, and in this picture

it looks like I might need one. Is this true?

thank you

Chase

You need a rail adapter for the T7 handle to work, it’s like the standard KH rail bracket, but with some handles welded onto them.

Maybe I’m wrong but I think you misworded what you just said.

The T7 is a rail adapter, so it will work for any normal KH seat, but you will need a rail post.

Sorry, I guess they’re right about men not being able to do 2 things at once.

You will need a rail seat post.

What I was trying to say is that the T7 handles are basically this rail bracket:

With a longer tube with handles at the front and a rear handle.

By cutting the ends of the bolt plate of a std (non-rail adapter) seat post, you can fit it inside the T7 and bolt it to a KH type seat, but you’ll need to put longer bolts through the seat. It’s only a good thing to do if the height of the rail adapter with the T7 is too much for short legs. Having done this modification, I think it reduces the height about a half inch. more details: New Nimbus 36"

Unless your legs are are too short, you won’t want to pass up on the adjustablity feature of the of the rail adapter and T7 combination.
