Nurse Ben: It may be the case that the bearings on the Nimbus hub aren’t press-fit; if so, that’s a design or manufacturing defect that uni.com is covering up by using a spacer.

I don’t know about that, I think the system is designed to allow the user to replace bearings when they’re worn. I do find that the bearings are impossible to get off the hub with a puller, and I was initially suprised when my bearing shifted, but since using the correct spacers I have had zero problems.

Maybe Kris could address the issue better?

Also it is ok to be paranoid about your most prized possesion. it shows you care about it.

If you’re going to do trials, forget about that. Treat your unicycle with no care. It’s alot better that way.
