Actually, for lack of a cerial #, I went ahead and bought the whole thing…$80 at Toys R Us. Oh well, It’s still useable as a green machine (which is pretty fun) and maybe I’ll salvage the bucket seat for a future uni-project. I’ll PM you the cerial # off mine. The bearings are tiny, but have big plastic casings that are just a little too big for nimbus main-caps. It just required longer bolts which seem to be working fine. Anyway, if you get one, make sure they give you the plastic casings too. You’ll also need to widen the forks on your frame by about an inch. Pictures soon, I promise.
Oh, and mine has 28 spokes too.
Also, pedaling it, especially uphill, is surprisingly easy. It’s just the coasting part that’s hard. At the moment I can only let it coast for a second or two at a time.
