Weeeell…probably coountless unicyclists are doing it. I took three kid onece,
and regulary take adults. Sometimes I take then on a 5-footer. And I have seen
it done on a 12-footer, I think.

It’s not really difficult. Just relax and let all your weight fall on the
seat.

hi fellow bike riders,

I was in a play today, the asked me to do some juggleing and stuff, so I took my
unicycle anway and on the stage before the play I got Natasha, my girlfriend to
sit on my shoulders while I ride my unicycle.

We kind of tried this once before and there was a fence post to hold onto at the
time, but this time it was on a big stage and there was nothing to hold onto.

I held onto a handrail while I mounted and rocked back and forth to get the feel
of the new wieght.

Then I headed for the other side of the stage. I made it and went back to the
middle of the stage and idled a bit before dismounting.

I must say it is quite wierd riding with someone on your shoulders. Natasha
wieghs about 55kgs - sorry but I am not sure of it in pounds for the americans…
say 120 pounds (?)

Has anybody else ever tried this?

Scott

you are right scott, it’s different alright, but suprisingly easy to balance
don’t you think? I don’t know much about the balance thing but I reckon it helps
in a way in the balance proceedure.

can you ride one foot? if so, try that with someone on your shoulders!! It’s
actually suprisingly easy also, again the person on your shoulders will aid in
the balance in a way. don’t tell the one up top that you are doing one foot or
they will freak out too much!

Erm. Fatal crash? How’d you manage that?

Oh, and can I join your Health Plan? It sounds much better than mine…
