a reason to like the Coker hub

i have heard much bashing and dislike for the stock hub on a coker.granted on a wheel of that magnitude the flanges should be wider, but one thing separates this hub from all the others that have a 4 sided taper.

do you know what it is??..its the bolted axle instead of the treaded axle.this is so much stronger.why do the Suzie and NK hubs go for the cheap threaded spindle?

the dust cap on the crank was off of this coker i was thinking of buying (and therefor inspecting diligently)and i noticed this bonus.

its obviously a generic hub but this is the way all uni hubs should secure cranks, on a coker or any uni.

Most cokers I’ve seen (10 or so) including mine have threaded spindles I’ve
only seen one with a bolted spindle.

My DM unicycles have threaded spindles so instead of a dustcap and bolt I
use a Shimano type Allen key bolt and then can re-tighten your cranks with
an 8mm Allen key.
